Clinical and Professional Supervision
Alex Honeykats is an Accredited Social Worker with over 25 years' practice and leadership experience gained in non-government and statutory agencies within Australia and overseas.
The supervision service is provided to individuals as well as organisations requiring an external supervisor. The focus of supervision is negotiated with individual supevisees.
Supervision services provided to organisations is tailored to suit their requirements, with feedback and reporting forming an essential element of such contracts.
Supervision provided by HRS focuses on the following three functions:
Formative. Focus is on affirmation or development of particular identified skill sets and includes:
practice reflection
integrating theory into practice
developing self-awareness
Restorative. Exploration of professional satisfaction and the interphase between the supervisee and their workplace. It can include:
dealing with job-related stress
assessing the influence of transference/countertransference
case discussions
Normative. Focuses on quality assurance of the work “product” provided.
Forensic and Psychosocial Assessments and Reporting
Alex have extensive experience in the development of psychosocial reports and assessments. Such reports include pre-release or -sentence reports, and Family Court 'expert' reports assisting the Court make informed decisions concerning child residency and contact Orders.
